Miss Laura Sorady is a Virginia Beach local who began her dance studies at the age of three. During her elementary and middle school years she was accepted into and attended the notable Old Donation Center Dance program where she studied dance history, jazz, modern, ballet, creative movement and choreography.

Miss Laura was then accepted into the dance program at the Visual and Performing Arts Academy and was a member of the first graduating class, receiving an advanced studies diploma. She also studied at other area studios including the Rhythm of Ireland School of Irish Dance for Irish Step Dancing and has experience in Flamenco Dance as well.

During the summer of 2008, she assisted accomplished illusionist Paul Krendl and his magic Company. She performed daily at the Virginia Beach Ocean Front's 24th Street Stage for Beach Street USA! From levitation to sawing in half, the show provided a little bit of everything magical.

Miss Laura has attended master classes with such companies as Alvin Ailey, Martha Graham, Koresh, the Richmond Ballet, and the Royal Ballet-to name a few. Currently she is a dance major at Old Dominion University pursuing a degree in Dance Education.
